ASTA Foundation successfully completed capacity building training series

 

 

ASTA Foundation, a dynamic youth-led organization, has successfully concluded a series of nine capacity-building trainings provided by United Purpose under the “Localization & Capacity Building” project funded by IOM.

The trainings focused on equipping ASTA Foundation with the necessary skills and knowledge to strengthen its operations and impact. Key areas covered included:

  • Internal Controls and Reporting: Ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Resource Mobilization and Project Cycle Management: Enhancing fundraising and project implementation capabilities.
  • Organizational Capacity Building: Improving governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning: Strengthening program effectiveness.
  • Advocacy and Campaigning: Advocating for the rights and needs of vulnerable groups.
  • Financial Management and Procurement: Ensuring efficient and transparent financial practices.
  • Protection and Safety: Prioritizing the safety and well-being of beneficiaries.
  • Humanitarian Principles and Standards: Adhering to international humanitarian standards.
  • Proposal Development and Fundraising: Securing sustainable funding for future initiatives.

Through these trainings, ASTA Foundation aims to further its mission of building a SMART youth for sustainable development and ensuring the economic security of vulnerable groups, particularly women, children, and persons with disabilities. The organization also strives to create climate-resilient communities by engaging youth and women in climate action.
