ASTA Foundation Inaugurates 6th Digital Literacy Course as Part of Building SMART Youth for Sustainable Development Project
Cox’s Bazar– September 13, 2024– The ASTA Foundation is thrilled to announce the inauguration of its new 6th batch of its flagship Digital Literacy Course, marking a significant milestone in the Building SMART Youth for Sustainable Development project. This initiative, designed to equip young individuals with essential digital skills including cyber security, social media etiquette, awareness against social disorder, is a crucial step toward fostering a future generation prepared for the demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
A ceremonial opening event held today at ASTA Foundation head office at Cox’s Bazar.
“Today marks a significant achievement for the ASTA Foundation and the communities we serve,” said Mr. Delwar, President of the ASTA Foundation. “Our Digital Literacy course is not just about teaching technical skills; it’s about preparing young minds to become problem-solvers and innovators who will lead us toward a sustainable future.”
In addition to the technical training, the program will emphasize the importance of ethical technology use, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility, reinforcing the project’s commitment to holistic education and sustainable development.
The inauguration event begins at 10AM include demonstrations of the course’s curriculum, testimonials from early participants, and a networking session.
