Traffic personnel across the country have been absent on the streets in the aftermath of Sheikh Hasina’s resignation in the face of mass movement, spearheaded by the Anti-Discrimination Movement, and the widespread turmoil, students have come forward to maintain order and assist with traffic management across the country.
Since August 6, ASTA Foundation’s youth have been controlling traffic in Cox’s Bazar town– facilitating the resumption of regular vehicle movement along with other organizations, general students. On August 7, the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force were deployed for traffic control, but ASTA continued to play a crucial role alongside them.
